What is shameful is how Westminster Council has allowed Crossrail and the private developers to continue to rape and gentrify the place. None of us want to go back to the dark days (however appealing it seems in hindsight, because it wasn't!). I'm all for moving things on but let's maintain a little bit of history here. Piccadilly Circus used to be a great place to visit.
