For all of
the critical mud that can be thrown in the direction of David Sullivan’s
Hellcat Mud Wrestlers, this cinema display from August 1983 is a lurid work of
art
The Classic Leicester Square (it had several other names during the '70's) was actually opposite the tube station in Charing Cross road. Apart from the day to day programme they would also do all night shows which attracted insomniacs and others who needed shelter and couldn't afford an hotel room. They once included the Sam Fuller classics "Naked Kiss" and "Shock Corridor" in an all nighter presumably on the basis of the titles which didn't seem out of place alongside "Sexy Susan Sins Again" etc
