Luan Peters : Homage to a Seraph

As a tribute to the recently deceased Luan Peters, Tim Greaves has generously allowed me to post his 1994 publication ‘Luan Peters: Homage to a Seraph’. Which all these years later still stands as the greatest overview of her career that I’ve ever read. Many thanks to Tim for allowing me to bring this long out of print booklet to the internet, and it goes without saying R.I.P. Luan Peters (1946-2017)

Sad news. I met the lovely lady a few times back in the 70s, and not only was she extremely good-looking she was a nice person too. I still remember a hilarious lunch at the old Spaghetti House in Sicilian Avenue. A friend took some photos of us after the meal, but not a single one of them came out. RIP Luan.

Are you sure? I can't find an obituary for her, and IMDb and Wiki (yeah, I know) still has her alive.

I don't think this is her somehow https://www.snyderfuneralhomes.com/obituary/luan-peters/

Yes, her death has been confirmed on social media by Judy Matheson, who learned the news from Luan’s son. I believe there have been attempts made to enter this information onto Wikipedia, but it keeps being removed.

Thanks for this Gav, I really love the films of Luan Peters, especially Man of Violence and teh Flesh and Blood Show (with the great Judy Matheson) - such a vibrant presence and - I have to say - so beautiful! Gone far too soon and my thoughts are with her family and friends like Judy. Best wishes, Paul

I can also confirm that she has passed away, my Mum was best friends with her from 11 until their mid 20's. She's quite upset by this news. rip Carol.
